only made two strings, because the Mosquito’s are horrible, but they turned out really nice.

is Woolly Nylon made any different then normal Poly string?

Yeah. Materially it’s nylon instead of polyester, but the construction of the thread is different as well. Wooly nylon is composed of many really fine strands that are kinked up a bit, which makes it sorta springy.

There’s more than one type of polyester thread construction as well. I think they can be characterized into thread weight (thickness) and then for the individual fibers, fiber thickness, cross section, and average length. They all contribute to feel and appearance.

You buy nylon thread then make the string same as usual.

its a thread brand

Wooly Nylon is a brand of “stretch” nylon. I use maxi-lock stretch now which is similar but less bouncy and easier to control.
