Hey guys, I just got a starlite today, but I can’t untwist it and I’m afraid I’m gonna break it. Should I just do it with more force? When twisting it back up, should I align the arrows or just twist until it’s tight enough? Thanks!
Put it in the freezer for a couple of hours. That will cause the parts to shrink a bit and loosen things up.
Maybe you tightened it too much and stripped it…
Nah, it wouldn’t untwist right out of the box.
twist a little harder, those are hard to unscrew and screw
Generally if it’s stripped it’s going to be very easy to turn. It may not engage the threads enough to unscrew it but it will turn.
starlights, protostars, and northstars, and i think basically any other new yyf plastic is hard to unscrew. you do not have to align the arrows again one you unscrew it. i keep my starlight slightly looser (about 1/3 of a rotation) and it vibes less than when it was tight.
