What can I do to make it less responsive and spin longer?

Its not my yoyoing have an 888 Im a great yoyoer! its just realy responsive!
Then clean the bearing and thin lube it. That’s the best thing you can do then. 
What pads do you have in there? How is the bearing set up? How smooth do you play?
I play pretty smooth it is 100% STOCK
Well, there are always the usual things; clean and lightly lube the bearing and break the pads in.
If you play smooth, then having a responsive yoyo is very rarely a factor.
