I find string sponsorships a bit weird already, so a pad or bearing sponsorship just feels so strange to me.

Not the car Einstein. The exterior is plastered with all sorts of logos and brands. Its like a very fast moving billboard.
The are players with multiple sponsorships. The thing is, the branding is different for yo-yos and NASCAR. Nascar also advertises for products unrelated to the sport, whereas yo-yoers could not rep say, Kraft foods. The cars also have convenient space to display ads.
Harrison has some sort of deal with Vancity clothing along with CLYW.
