I’ve got to say Glen is incredible for deshielding all those. I just got my shipment of 4mm wide MR85s in and tried to remove shields from a few and it was honestly much harder than standard MR85s for some reason. I split the outer race on one without removing the shield

I got MR85 C clips everywhere now. I just found one on my work computer and that wasn’t anywhere near where I was working. They’re like glitter - they get everywhere and are hard to eliminate.

Glen… there’s nothing wrong with the way my Proto plays. It’s just a lemon colored one which you should remember since that’s the only color you had at the time and you’re the one that sent it to me.
I personally would prefer the lime color way or lemon lime fade.
I only mention that mine happens to be a lemon

Alright, I think I need to build a poll here about something.
So I have all the Flying Lemons. The machining and anodising of them is flawless.
However, they all have vibe to some degree, yet at the same time have no vibe. Its quite confusing.
You can feel vibe when you hold your finger up to it, but there is none at all to be felt in play or on grinds. To me this means that in practical terms, there is no vibe at all.
I am currently waiting for some new bearings I ordered to come in. I was going to put them in the lemons and retest them, but I suspect that the outcome will be the same. These new bearings are still a month away from arrival.
What I’m asking is this: Do you not care and just want them up on YYE as soon as possible? I can have YYE put a disclaimer in the store page description. Or, would you rather wait until my new bearings arrive and I retest them all, likely resulting in the same result anyway.
Please give your vote below.
- I would rather wait for the testing with new bearings.
- I want them on YYE ASAP and realise the vibe is not felt in play in any way.

What you describe is nail vibe, its common and not really confusing. I have a lot of SE yoyos with a lot of nail vibe that isnt felt in play but is felt on the finger.

Every vibe I have felt on the nail, I usually feel on grinds too. Not so with the Lemon.
Vibe is a tricky subject to discuss.
Can’t wait to snag one, vibe or not. You could always see of YYE will list the new bearings separately for sale for “replacement/extras”. That way the release won’t be delayed and some people can try a new bearing still, if desired.

The hype seems huge. It scares me a bit.
