I use the 1.8 slotted from this set of precision screwdrivers, it has a very fine tip and I angle it and wedge it in under the ring and pop it out. Out of curiosity I timed myself and came in at just under 60 seconds to unscrew my plasm and remove a shield from 1 side. I have practice because I tend to deshield almost all bearings, it makes my brain happy, so satisfying.

Yeah I def have a 1.8, I have down to .5, I use my old worn out Bergeron .5 for scraping the bearing tracks. 1.8 is like using a pry bar in the watching making world, our “big” screwdriver is 2.0 lol

Ooooh nice. I probably can’t even handle one that tiny. I have constant minor tremors in my hands so I’m lucky I can deshield these MR85s this fast at all lol.

I’m currently deshielding and cleaning every single bearing that came in the flying lemon run. When they are deshilded and the huge amount of grease that was put in them is cleaned out. They perform perfectly.
When I get the job done, I can put them in all the Lemons and ship them to YYE.
I have more stainless steel ones coming, and they will be available to buy at YYE.

Well at this rate nobody will like any of them. They all vibe. Not from poor manufacturing, but the bearings. The vibe isnt felt in play and not felt on grinds, but prople sure are funny about vibe.
They are delayed until a new batch of bearings arrives for testing.
As I said, there is absolutely nothing wrong with them, but people hate vibe.
