I got to try @Yodaddyo ‘s Lemon in a temporary trade. I had it for a month and after much consideration, I would describe it in one word as… delightful.
It has that wonderful feel made even better by the small bearing which really imparts a different feel in play… a delightful feel. While you do have to be more deliberate with your moves, the Lemon is far more forgiving than than either its size, its shape, or even its weight would seem to imply. It doesn’t feel like a rock on the string at all, in fact the temporary trade from me was my Dreamland… and the Lemon “nearly” filled the hole that left. If you don’t know, that’s some pretty high praise. That’s all I’ve got.
You and your Dreamland with its flabby D bearing begone!
If only someone came out with something of its sorts with an MR85.
An A bearing could be fine too
I think the market for exploiting the MR85 is ripe with unexplored territory.
At this stage, nobody would dare do that but me.
Hmm… 64%/36% split…
Not sure this is evidence enough they should be sent in before I test them with the new bearings.
The only reason I’m not voting is that I am in no place to purchase one. IMHO though, I’m not sure it’d be kind to make you do the extra work
The extra work doesn’t bother me, it’s having a run of perfectly good Lemons sitting around that bothers me.
YOU KNOW THEY SAY ALL YOYOS ARE CREATED EQUAL. BUT IF YOU LOOK AT ME AND YOU LOOK AT DREAMLAND YOU CAN SEE THAT STATEMENT IS NOT TRUE! SEE NORMALLY IF YOU GO 1 ON 1 WITH ANOTHER YOYO YOU GOT A 50/50 CHANCE OF WINNING! BUT I’M A GENETIC FREAK AND I’M NOT NORMAL! SO YOU GOT A 25% AT BEST TO BEAT ME! AND THEN YOU ADD MR85 BEARING TO THE MIX, AND THE CHANCES OF WINNING DRASTICALLY GO DOWN!
– Flying Lemon, probably
I hope you decide to go with the majority and ship to yye asap
Hope whatever you do it works out, I’ve never messed with these types of bearings only d size, good luck!
Unless the voting changes, I’m more inclined to wait and test them with the new bearings.
What if the Lemon came in red?
But then it be an apple
So when you order tacos from taco trucks they give you a slice of lime and radish as toppings and the radish often stains the lime rind red making a red green faded citrus. This justifies the eventual existence of flying red fade citrus in my opinion.
If there are more Lemons to come later, red will certainly be a one of the colours.
It has huge symbolic significance for the Flying Lemon which is evident if you’ve read the children’s picture book ‘The Red Lemon’ by Bob Staake.
The moral of that story is that you should never discredit something new and different because it deviates from the norm, because that new and differen’t thing might well be something amazing.
No, minority rules, that’s how democracy works now
Yes they do, but its not by a landslide and I was already erring on the side of caution.
