SPEC problem

The other day I got my center trac bearing and put it on my Dv888… I decided to put my spec to some use on my DM for 5a… But the DM played more horrible than I usually am at 5a… So I put the spec back on the Dv888 and it played crappy too… Yet both yoyos played fine with the Center Trac… I listened to the spec and it makes this funny rattling noise and spins fir about a fifth of the time it usually spins… Any help at all to fix it would be appreciated!

Some gunk may have gotten in the bearing while it was in the Dark Magic.

Clean your Spec bearing, and be sure to lightly lube it afterwards.

Like Samad said, it’s probably some impurities that found its way into the bearing. Clean, Lube, and you’re good to go.

If your bearing is rattleling, then it’s more likely you knocked a ball loose while removing it from your Dv888.

That is exactly what it sounds like and I think it was rattling even before I put it in my DM so what should I do?

Its highly unlikely you knocked out a ball without much damage being done to it. The rattling is most likely either junk, or the bearing being too dry. Deshield the bearing. It all 8 balls are intact, I was correct, and you need to clean (and lube) it.

Ok I will try that tomorrow and see. Im sure its not to dry cause I put a couple drops in right after it started rattling

That completely explains why it spins less, and sounds weird.

Just clean it and lightly lube it.
