I know I’ve been away for a while… And I’m really excited about all the great new throws out now… Amazing cheap metals that play great… Etc…And I know I’ve bitched about this in the past… But it seems to be the one thing that still hasn’t improved with time… What is with the same old doodoo color ways…? It’s solid or it’s splashed… I see a few engravings… Not very exciting… And with hspin and spyy gone I don’t see anyone else pushing the envelope … I like a clean line as much as the next guy… But can’t we dub these things out a little…? Pin stripes … Like Race cars… Something…?
Could you give some examples of “exciting” and “same old” so we’re on the same page?

The yoyo addict stuff is beautiful…! I’m a little confused by the whole something/ yoyo addict or are they the same thing…
lol Spyy was pushing the envelope? What? Hspin had some fun colorways at the end, but nothing mind blowing.
pistolero, Flying V, skyy chaser… Spyy did some nice engravings and at a time when no one was doing that kind of stuff… And come on the pyro is still one of the most beautiful yoyos… And the envy… Had a naked lady on some…!

I wish YYF would bring back the 888 in some even better colorways, because some of the 07-08 ones were awesome.
I guess ultimately I’m dreaming of the fully customizable yoyo… I think I’ve seen bits and pieces of it… We have a 50 dollar yoyo like the shutter… That’s border line unicorn… Now I want to say I want mine in silver… With turquoise rims and a wood cap with some silver inlays…
Its not really “fully” customizable but I think theres a place out there where you can pick from like 100 templates and design your throw… then order it(Maybe)
Monkeyfinger does custom ano on their throws and has done some mindblowing stuff. Check out their Facebook and site for their custom creations.
