Hey guys, I love me a good matte finish. To me, the less light the yo-yo reflects, the better.
What are the most aggressive blasts/softest matte finishes you’ve ever seen?

It seems like all the current companies have a very nice matte down (YYF Uppercut, YYR typeface series, yoyofriends, Fair Trade PV44, TopYo Patronum are a few), but the Atmos finish is like a matte ceramic or something. It doesn’t even feel like metal it’s so matte.

There have been a couple of One Drop’s with a powder smooth blast. The Overture comes to mind. The first runs were blasted and the later runs were pyramatte. The blast on the Overture has been the nicest I’ve ever felt.
I believe the blasted Kuntosh 5000qv also has a really soft blast.

I had a Novablasted Chief (I’m blanking on who do the blast) that was then anno’d by SpottedBanana (Jason’s…uhh…protege). That thing was silky smooth. I’ve always regretted selling it. If someone knows the whereabouts, I’d love to try getting it back!

Haven’t personally played with one but Luftverks Ultra-Matte comes to mind.
I was thinking about that as well anyone who tried it that can confirm. Maybe @jeffreypang911
I can confirm, it’s incredibly soft, almost chalky
The softest finish i felt so far is on G2 Life Caribbean Sea. Still keeping it, won`t let it go, ever, no matter what, it is so good.
CLYW’s finishes are insane
My Yoyofreinds Koi’s finish is super soft.
