Hi all, could I get a legit check on this Sleipnir? I used the threads I could find to compare and it looks alright but I’d appreciate a more expert opinion!

Unscrew it show us the bearing seat and the axle.
It looks way shinier than my first run (same run different engraving)
Axle should look like this (7mm):
There are fakes with that engraving and blank halves in that colorway, Pictures of Fakes if you want to compare. These fakes are currently available and retail for $27.
Careful when posting the fake pics. The stand-alone yoyo pics those pages use are taken directly from yoyorecreation’s photos, the only reliable pics of the fakes are the full group pics.
I’ve seen fakes that look exactly like the real thing. The specs and parts are identical to the real thing This is probably the most faked yoyo, and is almost impossible to identify for some of them.
The engravings aren’t identical. Hate to say it so bluntly, but they’re just not. I’ve seen enough fakes side by side with real and if you know what to look for, you can spot it. I know that specifically with the OG horse on the Sleipnir, they got the hooves wrong - something with the indentation and detailing, but unfortunately I don’t have a fake to take side-by-side pics with mine. Several of the Draupnirs are off as well, fuji, 44 clash, some of the new logo, etc. All easy to spot if you know what to look for.
And I’ve never seen any fake come with a 7mm axle (an additional identifier/trait of authentic YYR vs fake is authentic YYR axles have no hex key insert, which no manufacturer will voluntarily do without serious $$$ put down) - fakes always come with 8mm with hex key insert. It’s quite literally impossible to find these online and I would invite anyone to try and find a 7mm axle with no hex key insert that isn’t manufactured by YYR…
