Just wondering, is the recess in a gorylla 411 too small for it to be siliconed?
I tried twice already but the silicone just ended up ripping out both times in like 3 days…
I use clear RTV silicone, adhesive and sealant by proseal, do you think its the type im using?
How long did you let it cure?
On the other hand, it really is just a sticker, so it’s not a very deep recess.
I’ve siliconed my genesis recess…
Try wiping the area down with alcohol before. It’ll help the silicone stay. And cure for 24 hours.
Yeah defiantly clean the groove with paint thinner or something and make sure you let it dry for 24 hours. Silicone can kinda fool you. While it’s drying it gets sort of a skin on the surface and seems like it’s try but it’s still liquid underneath.
The HSPIN box states that it will accept Flowable Silicone, or silicone in general.
However, a 24hr wait period is in order
