Do a dryer next, with one sock.

If you really want to stress test it, I’d say pop it in an empty paint can and put it in a paint shaker :skull_and_crossbones:

I’m gonna be real, I just replaced my washer and dryer and it cost a lot of money and I’m more scared of damaging the dryer by putting it in there than I am scared of damaging the yoyo :joy:

i like this real world testing.

lol, these sound like pretty smooth (though hard) surfaces. What about a rough concrete sidewalk? :joy: I kid though Andy, I know you’re mostly hunkered down in this heat.

Yeah it’s 102 degrees out today and I am for all intents and purposes highly allergic to the heat.

but my granite flooring in my kitchen has wrecked some aluminum yo-yos in the past :joy: so I liked it for testing.

So fresh and so clean clean. The only difference is I can see the bead blast texture very clearly because the oils are gone, it was otherwise unaffected. I also had to reapply a little lube to the string to get my response just right again.

Nice I am curious how it’ll do in cold but you’re definitely stressing it nicely

To the freezer then!

Bro, go to Wally World or Bullseye and get a butterfly fixed axle. $5 is cheaper than the mailing for a PIF. They’re so good!

Freezer for a few hours and straight into the concrete floor. Same tiny scuff mark that wiped off.

The Walmarts around me don’t carry them. I’ve even looked in cities that are a literal hour away and got no dice. The nearest target is also well over an hour away. I would actually be spending more on gas money to purchase a butterfly than trying this PIF.

Don’t believe me? Look up Lexington, MO in your GPS and you’ll see what I mean

I am MEGA hyped for this throw! Indestructible? Count me in!

Fantastic. Thing is I know this material is near indestructible but I’m excited to see all your testing.

The axle is the only thing I am curious on, if it could withstand pressure without breaking, like a car, but I don’t want you to test it and it breaks either

Yeah since I only have 3 and they cost $90 ish dollars I don’t wanna run it over with my car right now but there is a possibility of a second prototype run if I need to narrow the gap in which case v1 will be run over. Also if I do a large production run and they cost per unit is down one will also be run over.

I’m envisioning you in an airplane tossing it out with a smile and thumbs up

Only thing that going to stop this thing is to toss it into Mount Doom

One Yo-Yo to rule them all, One Yo-Yo to find them, One Yo-Yo to spin them all and in the air to bind them. In the land of tricks where the spinners play, With loops and flips, it holds its sway.
