Okay I’m ready to kick this off! I wanna keep it running pretty quick so I know if I need to do a v2 or not and give as many people as possible a chance to try it. I will be tossing two units in (separate shipments) so we are gonna do… first and second come first and second served etc down the line of folks commenting their request to join. I will get the shipments sent out some time this week but it may not be until late in the week as I ordered some string I wanna include that is on the way.
Rules
- Keep it for 2 weeks and then pass it on.
- Do not keep the thick lube I include for yourself, send it in the box to the next person.
- Feel free to add string/keep string except for the string I include in some labeled baggies which I want everyone to get a chance to properly try.
- I’ve done a lot of crazy tests like dishwasher, purposefully bashing it into stone, etc but lets not get insane with the proto units while they are on their journey, so if you could please not purposefully run it over with your car or anything I would appreciate it.
- Please refrain from tasting the yo-yo.
- Lower 48 only for simplicity.
- Feedback thread or 2 years of activity (exceptions granted case by case basis, folks with less time but lotsa goodwill etc granted admission anyway)
- After your two weeks I need a few things from you:
- Please suggest a name for the unnamed yo-yo.
- Suggest whether you feel it is good as is or if you feel we should do a v2 prototype run with a narrower gap.
- If you had a favorite string you tested lemme know.
- Send it on to the next person.
