It kinda looks like a yoyo. Yes, I believe that is correct. But really does it matter that its not a crazy unique shape? If it plays well I’m willing to fork over the 44.99 for it.
I got the Shutter with my most recent order, and wow, I am really impressed with it. It feels just right, not to heavy or too light…stable too.
I was really curious looking at that graphic, what it would look like spinning. It did not disappoint. I took some shots of it in motion. Another great one from YoyoFactory.

Great pics TA. I got a blue/purple one and it looks great. Plays amazing as well for the price.
I almost chose the all blue one, because I usually don’t like half colored yo-yos. But, I think this one suits me. Highly recommended, I love it…great value too.
I got my aqua Shutter today, and I love it. The stock bearing was okay, but when I put a Trifecta in it, it transformed into a different throw. It was fairly smooth before, but now it’s DEAD smooth. You can’t see or hear the yoyo spinning unless you pay very close attention. It has zero vibe, even on the fingernail test. It kills horizontals and is pretty good for finger spins, lol. :
If you would have chose the blue one I would have insisted you send it back because you obviously would have someone else’s Shutter. The black and red has TotalArtist written all over it!
BTW, the photography, as always, excellent.
For Labor day I labored all day long (7am-5pm) so I could get enough money for one. I ordered the aqua-violet one. I don’t think I have been this excited to receive a yoyo. I can’t wait!
