Show Us Where You're Throwing

Vacation time last week visiting wife’s family just north of Santa Barbara. Always have a looper to play with and a photo with one of our nieces on one of the days

Looks like somebody stuffed himself today. This guy was taking a rest on the trail to the park, not at all interested in getting out of the way

so for anyone that doesnt know, if youre ever anywhere (not sure availability outside of the south) and you pass a krispy kreme doughnuts and they have this sign with the hot now part lit, STOP! this will be the best throwing break you can imagine. when the sign is lit they are actively baking and glazing a batch and any glazed doughnuts you order, they will pull them straight from the line seconds after its been glazed. all im saying is, if you havent had a doughnut that fresh, what are you even doing?

I remember growing up in California, on our way home from church, we would always stop by the S&S Donuts place; on our way there we would always pass a Krispy Kreme, we liked S&S better, so we would just pass the KK and go to the S&S. except one time, as we were passing, my dad noticed the “Hot Now” light was on, he immediately turned and we went there instead. at first, we were all confused, or even disappointed, until we got our 6-second old, glazed donuts… We moved away from California a few years ago, I haven’t seen a Krispy Kreme since. :pensive:

Throwing at a hideout for cattle rustlers back around 1878 (Stockton Gang). It takes climbing up a few small sandstone cliffs to reach the arch.

ever been hiking in the woods and find gravestones?

I have come across many things in the woods. It always amazes me how few places have not been touched by humans.

Never seen anything like this.

But have always wondered how many “Unmarked” graves are out there…

For example; The great migration from East to West during the 1800s. I assume many died and were just burried along the way.

If your area has a historical association I would let them know of your find. These grave stones may give closure to a family or someone trying put together a family story. Nice find.
