Show some wooden yoyos you've made

After my flying Lemon prototypes are in, I will be shipping them off and deactivating my account here to allow me to simplify my life priorities.

I have one last hurrah left in me.

This Sunday, I will be able to make a few last yoyos. Maybe 3 or 4.

These really will be my last for the forseeable future. I may return a couple of years down the track, but for now, this is it.

What will it be?

Sorry to hear this Glen, but you do what you need to.

I’d love a Dead ‘Orse in prototypes specs. I like maple but would be open to alternatives.

Didn’t you just buy another very recently?

Oh no! I’m sad knowing that I may not own one of your beauties for quite some time, but I know how life gets in the way. There are certainly more important things out there than yo-yos.

I wish you all the best!

Yes, you do want one in maple. Mine is a dream!

Glen… you will be missed. It’s sad to see you go but I hope I speak for most when I say we wish you all the best in whatever path you follow. I am very grateful to have been able get a throw straight from you before you moved on. I’m also glad to have had the chance to know you, even if only a little bit. There is much to be said for simplifying your life and while many things may be difficult to walk away from, the reduction in stress can be very freeing. I truly wish you great happiness. Take care.

Glen, thanks for the seminal contributions that you have made to fixed axle and modern responsive yo-yo designs. So many of us appreciate your work. You will always have a home here should you decide to return to the community in the future. Keep well!

Glen! I would really love a matching wooden unresponsive fixie combo. PayPal ready. I know it’s a big ask but dm me your price. I need to buy myself a birthday gift :grimacing:

Glen, I am so sorry to see you go! You have always been one of the reliable anchors in this social space. And, your skills are a benchmark.

I hope you return sooner rather than later.

Aw man, what sad news to wake up to. Well, I’m just glad I got to be involved in the community during the time you were making yoyos. I love showing them off to all my non yoyo friends and explaining the details in your work to them. I also greatly appreciate all your help when it came to purchasing my first lathe and tools.

One that I’ve been hunting/waiting for is a Blood Cell in oak. If you’re feeling up to the task, my PayPal is ready to go.

Life has been chaotic for me lately.

If possible I would like a Dead 'Orse in Golden Wattle please. I missed the last drop.

We will be here whenever you want to drop by and just say hi.

You will always have a Place in the Yoyo Boomer Club.

I would definitely like a bloodcell in whatever wood you have lying around. (If time avails). It would be a mate for my button…

Thanks, Jeff

I’m making nothing if my YYO bundle on the BST doesn’t sell first.

Just got my OG spec Dead 'Orse in from @Glenacius_K and it’s absolutely awesome. Big, fun, and oh so smooth! Those that were able to snag one definitely aren’t going to be disappointed!

I don’t normally share that many collection pics on here, but with the news that we were given as well, I thought it would be a good time to show my SW appreciation shelf (not including my various RBC’s and metal Harbinger), I even still have a spot left for that sweet sweet Flying Lemon V2

Thank you again for everything that you have done, and we’re all here for you in the future if you end up getting bored at some point.
