Rso bowl xl?

Is the bowl xl too big? Asking for a friend who is partial to undersized organic yo-yos :smiling_face_with_tear: but seriously what do people thing of this beast addition to the bowl family? Having never played any RSO bowls I want to hear the community on why they are so loved/ pricey!

Thanks

I want a Bowl XL and a Derti, but I’m too much of a shrinking violet for that racy packaging. :upside_down_face:

I’ve thrown the Udon Bowl and the Bowl XL.
The XL definitely feels like a bowl, and it honestly doesn’t feel super big on the string. I mean, it’s obviously bigger, you’re probably not pulling off chopsticks with it, but it still feels floaty and nimble.

Is the Bowl xl…. Too big for ‘what’?

Why would you call the xl a ‘beast’?

Some people love the RSO yo-yos because they are very good designs. And they are made with impeccable precision.

Personally, I don’t ‘love’ all his models equally. But they are all Excellent products.

I am not saying his yo-yos warrant their high prices. Value, bang for buck, worth, etc, are justified or rationalized, based on your individual reasons/purposes for obtaining them.

On the prices> The less money a person has to commit to a yo-yo purchase, the more expensive it seems.

When I buy an RSO yo-yo, I don’t think, ‘I am spending so much on the yo-yo because it’s really good’. (Incorrect). I buy the yo-yo because I am confident it will be good…. And, if you want a particular model, you ‘have to bounce the money to ‘get’ the yo-yo’.

In this particular instance, the XL is a great value. $89 is a very good price point. Surely a departure from his other models, lol. I also prefer smaller yo-yos , mostly.

I had to jump out of my comfort zone, just to ‘see’ if this larger yo-yo would click with me. It does.

In this particular instance, the XL provides an adventure well worth the ticket price…

update it was beautifully thought out and machined, but far to large for me, a quick vacation at my house and away it went
