I got a new yoyo recently. I am currently using the 10 ball Onedrop bearing. I have noticed that at times my yoyo will respond at the flick of my wrist. This would be ok if it was a responsive yoyo. It doesn’t bother me thought most of my tricks but on grids where I have to pop the yoyo high it almost always binds. I don’t believe that the bearing is being broken in but it has been making screeching noises and the bearing seems almost like it is dirty but I have only had it for a couple of days.
That screaming is the bearing breaking in.
Clean it and the problem should go away.
Any advice on how to clean it?
