Feel free to post in the feedback thread for eddude @RobArmin .

Has he actually shipped ur stuff? I paid 20 plus days ago and he said he would ship, I haven’t seen it come in. I asked for an update but he isn’t replying. I know he sees my messages.

Not the first time I heard of this happening…. I was very cautious when I saw him post up basically his whole collection… figured he might be trying to pull one final heist before everything catches up to him….

I have ordered from ed before. It took him 3 weeks to ship out my yoyo. I was contacting him almost every day with minimal response. He did ship the yoyo but took almost a month to get it.

This is what he does brother, he did the same thing to me. Last time I bought from him ever again

I ordered from him once and it took some serious time, but he followed through.

Depending on when this was he may have a legitimate excuse - he ended up having to have some emergency surgery from what I recall. Communication should always be prompt, I totally agree, but sometimes life does, in fact happen.

This was before “his emergency surgery” . Months before that is, no excuse to take someone’s money and not answer them or send their item within a few days. Weeks? Totally wrong! I just want other people who read this to understand what I went through because it seems people are still dealing with this. He just has such good deals it sucks you in

I mean the good news is that he always seems to come through in the end though from what I’ve seen. I think it’s hard because you never really know someone’s situation in general or what’s going on in their lives, but for the prices and quality of the throws I’ve gotten, and some of my personal interactions and helpfulness he’s provided, I can live with a wait.

100%, but what about the people right now waiting weeks on end with no answer? No matter what he always gets away with it bc he comes through, but that’s not right. This had been an ongoing discussions about him on multiple BST platforms . I like to spread awareness so people can use caution against him bc it’s not a good experience.

There’s not a good “I understand this” emoji, but I understand this side of the fence as well, lol.

I just wanted to at least acknowledge that he does come through because while I can get peoples’ frustrations, I’d rather my throws take a while than to never show up at all for certain.

Yeah i think i just got lucky because he lives in the same city as me. It was nerve racking ill admit but he has really good hard to find yoyos. Anything worth while is difficult.
I will say i was told he would deliver and he did. So that is what i will say too.

He got the monkey finger discord BST shutdown because of his antics and the rifts it caused over there between members defending him and those who had been wronged by him with no answer for if they were ever gonna get the things they were promised/ a refund

Didn’t they also say on there that he settled all his accounts and transactions in the end? If I recall, that was the around the time he got into a physical accident or something and was held up for a bit, which was where the problem ended up occuring.

I’m not trying to be combative I promise, I just also would hate to see someone’s rep get tainted over things that were out of their control or bad circumstances.

Totally agree, but at this point I would say his rep is already tainted because he has wronged many people. Even if he does wind up sending the throw it’s not right and shouldn’t be given a pass for the antics. If there was a real life issue I don’t think anyone would disagree. Unfortunately, this has been done time and time again … person after person… and many many months/years apart. The accident was the recent reason. There was plenty of time and complaining before the accident.

Another good spot for an “I totally understand this” emoji, haha.

And it’s not like the “personal accident” story isn’t used by every scammer ever when they get called out, it’s the most common trick in the book.

If this was his first time having issues I could excuse it but after getting personally attacked, hounded, and basically kicked off discord for months because I was being harassed by multiple members of the MFD community over one deal that turned sour that I ended up giving a full refund for I can’t believe they would not only allow this known scammer to post and sell in there BST but also defend him from others that have been wronged by him first hand in there own community.

By far the worst community in the yo-yo world due to a few sour apples :man_shrugging: it’s a shame cause the throws are pretty cool if you can get past all the scalping and scamming of fellow members that is encouraged while every other community has shunned it.

This is actually one of the things I always worry about when getting even close to thinking about selling anything. I just don’t want people to think negatively if my stuff ever comes up.

That, and I’m like “what if someone thinks there’s vibe when I didn’t feel it, what if there’s a speck I didn’t see” lmao. So I just keep everything safe and close instead, collector-mode, haha.

Gonna preface this with the fact that I’m waiting on a number of throws from Ed as well. Hoping he comes through, it does seem like he always does based on prior feedback(just takes a while sometimes). I don’t know if i’d agree with worst community in the yoyo world by far, but I definitely agree we’ve seen a large uptick in scammers and scumbags on these forums recently. Really unfortunate as i’ve been on and off on here since 2014 and don’t recall it ever being this bad. I definitely agree that we as a community need to put these scammers on blast(ie doc, etc), as newer throwers may get discouraged and leave the hobby due to a few bad apples. While I don’t think that the forum is necessarily policed as well as it should/could be, a large part of that needs to fall on the members as well(to be fair, it does seem like it’s turning around a little after the most recent doc incident)
