Hey there! Eric’s the name, Geek is the game!

I started learning to throw as a kind of unofficial physical therapy a few years ago. While serving in the US Army Military Police Corps, I suffered a traumatic spine injury that ended my career and took a solid decade for me to fully recover from. It was a freak accident. Just one of those lucky “one in a million” lottery winners, I guess :joy:. Due to the nerve, bone, and disc damage, it hurt to stand. So I wouldn’t. One of my many PTs at the time suggested I find a way to move around and be on my feet more that also distracted me from the pain. They said as my body got used to being upright and using those muscles again, the pain would get better. They were right. Suddenly, a new thrower was born and I fell in love with a new hobby!

Other interests include, but not limited to: horror and science fiction of all mediums, huge space geek, tech, gaming (action, RPG, shooter, EVE Online, etc), science, philosophy, and more. I really just follow the Dopamine.

I live in Michigan with my beautiful Goddess, better half, and wife along with our three monsters—I mean “lovely children”—and our two cats and one dog.
