I dig undersized and mid-sized yoyos. Spin Dynamics Smooth Move and Monkey Fist are all-time favourites.

At least once a day, for an hour, I will pick up my Smooth Move and throw it till my arms hurt. It’s a good transition from my Flow and Prodigy.

It’s wonderful. Make no mistake: it plays like a tribute to a particular kind of yoyo and is NOT a stability monster and wasn’t designed to be one (Monkey Fist fills that role!)… but that makes it all the more charming. Just don’t buy one thinking it’s going to be a performance champ or you’ll be disappoint.

hah, “performance champ” is not something I ever look for in a yo-yo because I know that means it’ll be fast, and angular I’m an organic, floaty type…
