Pyro - bought one used based just on looks, tried several weeks to like it, but couldn’t get used to it. But ended up trading it away from something that I do like, a Wedgie.
but let’s not forget that most of the Shinwoo Griffon Wings (check spelling) break apart, period! With no hope of fixing so consider being able to put an offstring back together is a nice touch next to the alternative…although I do recommend a hayabusa…
09 888: I bought it and loved it for a long time, like 5 months. It got dinged, so there was a vibe, then I satined it and the vibe was sorta gone. It got sooo boring, so I traded it for a project. Sadly, I miss it, and would kill for a new 888. I want one for christmas. I had a beadblasted 09 B-Grade 888, and I just realized how epic that thing was. Traded that and my die nasty for my GM2.
New Breed: Bought one at the IYYO. It came really responsive, and I immediately disliked it. What a waste of forty bucks right? So I dyed it, put my peak bearing in it (bad idea, cause they’re so good) and played it. A bit better, but not much. I traded it.
Hitman: Never dead unresponsive, vibey, and the bearing was always stuck on. Traded it for 5 dollars, ugh.
G5: Not a huge fan of the shape, or the play. It’s too skinny.
Silk: Too big. Just a boring yoyo to me.
Velocity: Too skinny, too expensive, plays worse than a yoyojam.
Yoyos I don’t regret purchasing:
Gung Fu (gonetear), GM2, Peak, Five Star, 3 FHZ’s (XD), Kickside, OffString, Copycat (I want that back…).
