Yes, it’s been said before that someone/something restricts Canadian companies from calling their products yoyos, but I can’t remember exactly what.

TRU in the Great White North only has Yomega and Duncan, and the selection varies widely between stores.
I tried to order a Velocity from YoyoFactory, but it said no can do, I could ship and pickup at the border, but for $15… I did find we have a local club but everyone is off to the Worlds and then the nationals in Edmonton, but I’m hoping to meet up with some members and pick up something 2nd hand (and maybe get a lesson on “binding”).
I’m told YoYoExpert.com and BillyBobs.com (weird that is not what I typed, it just autocorrects from ----sam to billybobs, whom appear to be more expensive anyway) do ship up here for $10. :6
