replaace the ghost pads with friction stickers( you will have to carve out alittle aroud the edges with a pocke knife) and add a duncan bearing. ( I used one from a FHZ) and it plays better. ( I think so anyhow) 8)
I can’t imagine it playing better. You are putting in less than ideal pads and more importantly putting a different size bearing in it. The only thing I could see this doing is making it super responsive with a side of string slippage.
