I recently purchased a SPYY Punchline and I noticed the strings are fraying at the gap and i was wondering is this normal? and if not how can i fix it.

It happens to all string as it wears down.
It doesnt happen to the rest of my yoyos. It wears down after like an hour of play.
get rough jean and rub it against the the part that touches string.

You can also use the back of a leather belt. The beadblast around the response is what’s causing the premature fraying. Rubbing that area immediately around the response will smooth it out a bit, and not affect the play of the yoyo. Or, if you just keep playing it, eventually it will smooth out.
