Hi anybody, I’m new to the site and have a question.
I have been yo yoing for a long time. Have a dozen yos from dark magic , to hit man , mini mo tu. I know how to bind and all my yos have great response.
The Protostar does not respond no matter what I do. Even double binds don’t work.
I know it’s wide with center bearing , so can I narrow it and put in a reg bearing?? help…
I think the center-trac bearing has the same width as the regular c-sized bearing. I think you are better off working on your binds. You can try triple binding, if double binding does not work. You should be able to get the yoyo to respond, with enough practice.
Check to see if the white response pads are still in the yoyo.

Thanks for the input. Will try triple binds. When you do a string trick and you run low on spin a triple may not be possible.?? Hate to hand wind all the time. ps it wont return even with the quickest hand spin… The response rings are ok . Will try to practice big time…
