I had an order shipped in January.
After talking with USPS, it’s been stuck in customs since February. Going on 3 months stuck in customs.
Thats frustrating. USPS customs is usually pretty good from my experience. Which customs office did it get stuck in? I’ve heard Chicago and NY can both be a pain.
I am still waiting for a tracking number sadly.
Los Angeles. It arrived there around Feb 20th according to USPS.
Doesnt fatguysnacks either work closely with them or part of the company? I may be wrong but im pretty sure i remember being in a conversation on discord and it was being talked about.

Genuinely disappointing to hear about. This is hands down some of the best string I have ever had the joy of jamming through. But being 4 months out on an order + a history and no communication over the past month is not reassuring. Might need to start the process for a chargeback
Yeah u know I’ve been wanting to comment on this for a long time but I’ve stayed quiet in the hopes that p44 would eventually prove my doubts wrong and come out on top since I am/was rooting for them cuz I also believe they have great products. But when I placed my first order with them it was a huge issue. I placed the order and and received confirmation but the original tracking number never gave any update. I let them know and they assured me it was shipped. A couple days later I got a new tracking from them but it said their post service hadn’t received the item yet, they told me it just be cuz they’re backed up or something. A full month by and the tracking never got an update. At this point I was messaging them every other day. And I didn’t know what to believe or what was actually happening. That tracking finally got its first update and it said the package was received to some location. Not far from origin. I was just happy it was finally updating, the whole time they were attributing the issue to be on the mail service side. Another month went by and the tracking never updated again. By the two month mark I became kind of angry about it cuz I was obviously a frustrated customer and this wasn’t normal so in my opinion I would expect any reputable company to offer to fix the situation either by issuing refund or offering to replace the order free of charge. I even relayed this to them but they did neither. Break later I had message them asking for refund and they messaged back saying the tracking had finally updated and sure enough it did. It now said my package was about to start going thru customs. I was surprised and kind of relieved but at this point I almost didn’t care about it anymore cuz I was disappointed with the experience and lack of customer service. Idk why but I expected better service from them and was very disappointed when they didn’t offer to remedy the situation. Cuz to me 2 months is unacceptable and they should’ve offered either partial refund or resume another pack of string for the issue. But I suspected the reason they didn’t do that is because this was actually the norm for them. And sure enough it seems like that’s exactly the case. Pretty much every person I’ve heard talk about they’re experience has been very similar and some people way worse like the above. I haven’t said anything cuz I still want to give them the benefit of the doubt. Idk wether this is on them or if they just have the bad luck of having the worst mail service in the world.
My first order took 6 months of back and fourth before I got it. It was by far my favorite string but I’ve had qualms about ordering more since then.
Also being ghosted with 2April hasn’t set well with me
Yeah that really stinks, I was really looking forward to trying some of their string that I’d be getting in my 2April prize I was in need of some looping string too
Woah 6 months!? I thought mine was bad. Man so what gives? What’s ur theory about all this? Is this a case of poor business practices, bad communication, and even blatantly lying to customers? Or do u think that shipping time in their country or the service they use is to blame. Cuz if that’s the case imagine letting something like that destroy you’re whole business image and reputation? Either way this is kind of wild. I’m definitely bummed out about it cuz they’re was so much of their string I still wanted to try. And I actually felt like they might be able to achieve their mission statement which was to set a new standard or something like that.
