A New Phase 2024
Happy New Year everyone! (unless if you lived in asia since we are 12 hrs away from NA)
2023 was a very challenging year for us as a independent company, to start things off let’s us share you with our little writeup that we made shall we?
Back in early july we are slowly transitioning our brand from yoyo equipment to yoyo company as this is part of our main goal in the future and make waves through the niche yoyo market. The release of our first flagship yoyo was a success and help us catapult for our future models and we couldn’t thank you enough for showing your utmost support!
We take the leap of faith and diversify our offerings not just producing solely for yoyo strings and accessories but also venturing for designing competitive yoyos with our know-how, adapting new and existing technologies and collaborating with other companies.
Starting this 2024 there will be major changes as we are now a fully pledge YO-YO COMPANY (as the second branding name suggest) under the new parent company as we take over the brand rights from the previous owner (formely owned by Project44 Yoyo Equipment Manufacturing - Philippines) and slowly improving our goods and services to the customers. Look forward for our future product releases soon as we are preparing to unravel what we developed behind the scenes!
This is our first update for 2024 and we apologize if the writeup is bit long and we hope that you’ll continue to support us throughout the years and believing our passion!
Thank you everyone for taking time to read this and P.S we will get back to you regarding for your inquires as we are still in vacation leave.
And remember Ready, Steady, Throw!

PROLOGUE
The full story of the yoyo started back in mid-2022 when Mr. Wahira (co-founder of Alphayoyos) reached out to us when they tried our first version of Taurus (a yoyo collaboration with Toybania) and gave us compliments for the overall design, which proved to be a good beater throw. He also pointed out that the obvious cons of the design are the sharpness of the edges, which sometimes cause a weird but uncomfortable experience when you hold it in your hand.

After a few months, we became in touch from time to time via email about our favorite yoyos from other brands and their design features, and to the point where our conversation became more obvious as Mr. Wahira proposed a collaborative work for a new yoyo based on our design but made for technical players. The answer was very clear, and thus our yoyo development journey was set.
STORY
We began our development stage around late 2022, and the design concept was focused on the following two keywords: powerful and unusual. These words became very challenging for us to execute to form a specific design unit for a yoyo made for heavy technical players and second, we sent the base CAD file to Alphayoyos to create the yoyo focused from the original keywords.
It took multiple rounds of design alterations, to the point where we halted the development for almost half a year to make room for new ideas as we experienced creative exhaustion aka burnout as other people called it. While we were busy with other things, Mr. Wahira reached out to me and made an epiphany. During his off time, he did some extensive research on old Yoyo models from US brands and accidentally found this particular profile design dubbed the UNDERCUT body shape, which checks out our keyword “unusual.” This body design isn’t for novelty, but in theory, you will feel a unique floating sensation on the string due to the gouged cut on the mid-shape.
Now the final part is to figure out the final keyword “powerful” in order to fully develop our yoyo. The base profile that we sent them was a monometal version and to his feedback, this would feel sluggish if it were only made of a single piece of alloy. Pointing out the problem, we decided to switch out the design to bi-metal to eliminate an unnecessary chunk of weight from the monometal rim. They added the overhang stainless steel rims on the outer circumference for powerful spintimes and maintaining stability when executing a variety of hard technical tricks!
We believed that this design concept was not used yet for bi-metal construction as of now and has only been exclusively made from monometal for the past decade, and the result is a more aggressive and unique visual presentation of our long-developed work.
EPILOGUE
The origin name of the DYNAXENON is derived from two different names that came from our keywords in Greek.
DYNA is a combining form meaning "power,” and XENON is derived from the Greek word xenos, meaning “strange” or "foreign,” and it perfectly fits our original keyword design!
We are proud to share with you the culmination of years of development and a lot of brainstorming references to create this obra maestra (masterpiece) of modern Yoyo design, and we hope you get a chance to try!
