I was playing with my gnarwhal, and noticed that it wasn’t close to as smooth as it was. The string always started to roll up a bit on every move. I opened it and saw two little holes in my silicone. Could those holes have caused this? Also, i’ve never siliconed a yoyo before, and I know the general yo pads fit, but are they as good as silicone?
Try cleaning your bearing. Still isn’t smooth, try correctly lubing the bearing. And depending how big the hole is in your response, there shouldn’t be too much of a problem. Also, since you got holes in the response, check to see if there is any silicone on the bearing seat too. The General Pads are fine compared to silicone, not much to tell.
