Problems w/Something the v

The yoyo was great until it suddenly started vibing a lot. It’s really annoying is this normal? What should I do?

Try tighting plastic caps, similiar thing happend on mine and this helped.

Ok i tightened the caps on the yoyo as much as possible and still was very wobbly and vibey however when you take out the caps it plays fine. Is there any other way to fix it?

Are the caps loose or damaged?

Try putting then back in and experiment.

Check to make sure the yoyo is properly tightened and not over-tightened.

Make sure the bearing is in good working order.

Has the yoyo taken any massive hits? I’m wondering about the axle.

The knee-jerk response to check the caps is really the first thing to investigate. Try taking the caps out and see what happens.

There^^.

If it was me, I’d note what cap is where, and see if the proper pairing of cap/half can be found. Or leave the caps out. I like caps on.

does it really matter if the caps are in a certain half of the yoyo and i also didnt understand your last comment about the knee-jerk response. Ill try switching the caps.

Knee-jerk response:
What people would usually jump to, however it sometimes means overlooking a known underlying cause. Fixing the symptom while not necessary addressing the underlying issue.

Look it up, it’s a common term that’s been in use for a few hundred years.

I would listen to studio 42 he has a V(I think?) and sure does know his throws
