Polished my Dif-E-Yo

Many moons ago, probably around 2012, I bought this Dif-E-Yo Wide Sport. It was somewhat beat up then, but over the years it’s become borderline thrashed. I saw in another thread someone had polished a Top Deck and a few others, and that got me to thinking. I picked up some cape cod cloth to polish some watch parts, why not give that a try. I’ll let the photos speak for themselves.

Idk if it’s placebo, but it plays much smoother now with the rings out, and even with them in, maybe they can seat a little flatter, it’s, but man this thing looks SICK.

Yessir!! That was my thread I think ur referring too. Great job on that thing came out great !

Tell me that the Yoyo doesn’t play 10 times better than before? Doesn’t it feel so much superior in play and on the string being polished? It’s like a whole different experience right?

I have a whole newfound appreciation for polished throws now especially organics

A polished Dif always looks and plays great. :+1:

It definitely improved its play, I think I need to re-address that gouge at some point, but it’s just way more satisfying to play with now
