I like to tinker as well but my house is under construction so might not get to. I do have many spare stems to toss in it.

There should be openings as long as people want to sign up. In November when the new version is in my hands I’ll be replacing these protos with that one.

my thoughts on the V1 is:
- Like feel of the material
- Like the look of the material
- Responds just right with the thick lube, but a tighter gap and/or more aggressive response will be nice
- Would personally like a bit higher walls.
- Looking forward to the V2 run.

HOLY CRAP YOU MADE AN ULTEM YO-YO!? I have a titanium and ultem yo-yo pen and it’s one of my very favorites! This is a GREAT material to work with!
VERY VERY much looking forward to v2. Please reserve one for me. I’ll pay extra.
update: here’s the Ultem/titanium pen that is my EDC. LOVE this thing. I only gave it to two other people: Jimmy Wales of wikipedia and Alexander Vindman (ex us-military of note, think Ukraine).

Yep! I have also been making some other Ultem yoyo accessories! Including 3/4 spec Ultem bearing blanks that turn the deepest state and other side effect bases yo-yos into fixed axles.
Most of the accessories are now up for sale on my site other than the Ultem No Jive axles which need a little more love. I’m selling the accessories at my cost to give back to the yoyo community.
For the v2 there has been much drama with the shop making the v2, they ruined 97 out of the 100 Yoyo run and are currently remaking them all. I’ll post an update in the main thread when I get them up for sale!

That looks like a Tactile Turn. I’ve been eyeing them considering buying one to go with the yoyo but hadn’t pulled the trigger yet.
