Package stuck?

This is not a huge issue yet or anything just never been in a similar situation before so figured Id ask yall.

I bought a yoyo from a person not in the usa. It was shipped but the tracking when translated says “Refusal of admission” at a location in the origin country.
Its been more than 2 weeks since that point.

I think there was some issue with shipping and now the yoyo is going to be stuck in origin country’s customs hell and never going to move.
What do I do. Just eat the cost?

That’s the sellers problem not yours, get a refund.

But till when do I wait? I dont want to ask something unreasonable from the seller. I understand international shipping can take a while.
What would be a normal amount of time to wait for the package to move before asking for a refund?

If the tracking is literally saying it got denied at the border I would ask for the refund, clarify the tracking with the seller though.

So…. All it was, was you using the incorrect ‘tracking number’?

That’s waaaay too funny😂

Great news no doubt.

Were those folks who lived across town a couple of children in trenchcoats? Cause what adult says that :joy:

Good idea Ill ask the seller to go poke around their post office. I just wanted other folk’s opinion on if Im good to start asking those questions or should give it like a month or something.

Nah. Tracking says it’s dead in the water. Can’t hurt to ask what’s up.

I’ve heard adults say dumber stuff. Remember an entire generation (a few actually ) essentially has lead and mercury exposure and today it’s microplastics. I’m not surprised by folks acting dumb anymore.

On another note. Doesn’t hurt to reach out but I’ve also had packages that showed something similar then arrived like nothing happened. Idk post offices are silly especially internationally

I’ll add myself to the list of dumb adults coz I have been using the wrong tracking number all this time :grimacing::grimacing::grimacing::smiling_face_with_tear:

That’s, honestly, an easy mistake to make. And a huge relief, I’m sure.
