Hi to everyone!

Last time I hear from @Christian789 about my yoyo purchase was 9-10 day ago.

It has been 14 day since I sent money for my yoyo. No yoyo, no tracking number, just many excuse, follow by radio silent. I have a odd feeling something was off before even making deal so I believe this was the first time I ever use G&S on this YYE forum to buy a yoyo (I trust almost everyone here, but this seller have 0 feedback). G&S refund is easy, I just post this for warning you all :slight_smile:

Timeline:

July 28th - I send money

July 29 - @Christian789 say package shipped, sent me a photo of someone elseā€™s box at USPS, and someone elseā€™s tracking number on receipt with most of the tracking number crossed out in photoshop. USPS Receipt say Delaware location, but the address he give/show me before we make deal was in the same state he ship to me, 1600 miles away from Delaware.

July 29 - Arguing and getting many excuse about how his mommy ship for him and she wont give him the tracking image or something weird like this. I just ask for tracking, but i donā€™t really care because I send money G&S. I already know something is up, so I am annoying on purpose. Usually people ship me yoyo and that is the last they hear from me.

July 30 - August 2 @Christian789 claims my package will be out for delivery today August 2 but still refuse to give me tracking when I ask again, say his mommy wonā€™t send tracking number for him. Aug 2 is last time I hear from Christian789. Somehow he can check tracking for other package he send that day, but not mine.

August 6 - I send follow up message to @Christian789 I say that no package here, and I still have no tracking 10 day later. I have seen his account online almost every day between July 30 and August 6, but no reply.

August 11 (today) - Still no hear back from @Christian789 , I saw he was on and offline periodical since I sent last hear from him. My last mean message on Aug 6 freak him out maybe and he have disappear since.

Iā€™m not mad or care since I send G&S (I will just refund easy), but I am annoyed I have to do community due diligence of spending hour and a half to collect/format all of this so you all have record next time you do business with @Christian789 . If I do not care about community, I would just silent G&S refund and move on with life, but I donā€™t want someone to send F&F money to this person on accident without knowing my experiences! Thank you to @Christian789 to wasting many hours of my time on this deal between set up, follow up, checking mailbox many time (no tracking!), and make this post >.<, I will be invoicing you a bill for my time, thankyou! ha ha

Iā€™m sure there will be a new excuse he come to explain when he rejoin community. I donā€™t care much for this, as not like I would ever make a deal with this person again anyway lol - just some warnings for others

2.) Send me photo of his address written on paper, and my address I request to ship to for me to confirm. I say it look good. say it shipped next day, I ask for tracking next day - he make excuse. (I leave out photo of our addresses hand write on paper)

3.) He say this is the photo of my package and receipt mom sent yesterday. I assume this is my tracking and my package, because why the f you send someone else tracking/package like I care or it relevant somehow

4.) I disregard photo as I do not know what they mean, and I say I just need tracking. He say it on the way. I ask for update next day. He say it on the way.

5.) now my confusion set in because I thought he send the tracking covered up for some reason (none of this make sense). OH! It someone else tracking number his mommy send to him. Not sure why I am sent this then

6.) 3 day later I ask for update. he say it will deliver today. he can check tracking for all other packages ā€œmom sentā€, to see they are out for delivery, but not mine lol

  1. continue, say he ask mom for tracking. 4-5 days later I follow up to no response.. last heard from Christian789 10 days ago.

I had negative experience with them as well, as the seller. They claimed to pay me in a few hours and never did. They also didnā€™t give a f about replying to my messages while being active on the forums all day. They finally replied back after days saying they spent the money else where. Complete waste of time

Dang. This stinks. Sorry to hear of your experience here. Iā€™ve bought and sold multiple throws without an issue. Itā€™s great that you trusted your gut and went with G&S.

I hope you are able to resolve the transaction without any further issues.

do not worry, i have probably done 40-50 transaction here on YYE, F&F every time. it is always great here, we know who the good traders/sellers are,!

somehow I knew this would happen before I even message to buy the yoyo, my open first message I say I will pay G&S for the yoyo lol. Idk what give me this feeling, as the account is 1 year old and posts/contributes semi-often normally from looks

getting money back is simple, thankyou for the concern

I had the same exact experience with this person. Asked for a bunch of photos told me they will pay me and to mark my yoyo as pending even and then dissapeared. Lame.

Iā€™m in the very same boat with this particular seller and coincidentally earlier today I escalated the situation with PayPal. I used goods and services as anyone making a forum transaction should do. PayPal may not step in and refund my money until after August 31st which feels like a very long time, but having recourse when a seller makes a lot of promises and then falls off the map is invaluable.

Iā€™m going to step in here as the single positive voice. Iā€™m sorry that you guys have had trouble and I hope it is resolved. Iā€™ve bought from this guy and had no issues at all. He even accepted a pretty steep low ball offer after thinking about it for a few hours and was super respectful.

These stories are why everyone should use Goods & Services when making transactions with people on the forum. Send to ā€˜Friends & Familyā€ and you are at risk.
