This is hilarious but also kind of awesome! Is it balanced? I’d assume it’s unresponsive right?

It is unresponsive. What do you mean by balanced?

The Minitee has a W/D ratio of 1.14, for reference the Shwangle at 0.86. This one has a W/D ratio of 1.68!

Since it’s an hourglass would be funny if the colorway expressed that… one half like sand, the other like glass.

I wonder what the sand would do while the yo-yo spun.

Probably move around😂

It spreads out and looks like a blue ring…

For how wide it is it’s surprisingly smooth for a 3d printed YoYo. Of course it uh is absurdly wide and that does impact what you can realistically do with it. Or at the least I can definitely do an eli hop but getting into a mount can be a challenge in its own right lol

The Hourglass is as smooth as 3D printing gets. I can say the same for the slightly more “standard” yoyo I got in the same order (now that it has been released, I can say it’s “The Isosceles”. The included bearings are great.

As mentioned the width presents some challenges if attempting standard string tricks. For frontstyle the string attached to my middle finger doesn’t spread far enough from the index to catch without colliding. Managed a split bottom mount using my thumb and went from there. So many of those tricks are manageable with adjustments, with the bonus it’s easier for an audience to see.

People who have seen it get amazed without me doing anything at all with it. It’s ridiculous and it’s fun. While trying to figure it out I’ve been laughing the whole time.

I don’t do Meta properties. Would you consider Bluesky as well?

Congratulations on the brand and naming! Very fitting and cool logo.

Thank you! Nothing on Bluesky right now but I might consider it in the future. I’ve never even used Instagram so I’m having a difficult time figuring it out.
