Awesome! What bearings do you use for the caps?

Idk why, but the spikes on that mini really entices me

Mini matador style

I used some random fidget spinner bearings I had laying around. They were pretty big though so they added a lot of weight. This yoyo was around ~100gms I think.

If you would be interested in purchasing, don’t hesitate to DM me!

100g is wild. I love that

Is this still available? And if so how much :eyes:

It’s not available right now, but I’ve gotten a lot more interest than I expected so I’m going to revisit it. But I also want something unique to put my own spin on because I don’t want it to just be a straight copy of the nine dragons. Any ideas on something unique I could change?

Add a spike. Everything is better with spikes

Nine Dragons was based on the Auldey Photon Spirit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MN4SuWNZXGs

It’s a fairly large yoyo at 59.1mm diameter, and the shell is quite flexible, so it’s possible to hold it and slow down the cap/main body if you apply too much pressure. So you can make the shell more rigid.

A spike would get in the way of fingerspinning it easily. So perhaps a removable one like the mini archetype. Removable spike could be your thing. Could add divots like on some Duncan caps where end users could wedge a key or whatever to lift and remove it.

Auldey had some yoyos where you could twist-lock LEDs and hubstacks but that eats up a lot of the cap face, and gets a lot more complicated.
