Overused words

Smexy. Mint. Beat.

Came here to say ā€œmintā€ but saw that Iā€™d been sniped. Seriously, Iā€™ve seen ā€œmint with one or two scuffsā€ waaay too many times.

near-mint, it either is or isnā€™t

Yoyo related forum. Yoyo related topic.

Youā€™re right. It either IS or it IS NOT. Of course, it can be CLOSE.

A measurement can be NOT an inch, but CLOSE to an inch. Likewise, near-mint is still a valid description.

Your issue is like saying said measurement can not be measured because it is not exactly an inch.

EDIT: God I hope that made sense.

I understood it.

If not near mint, what do you want people to say?
and I think a lot of people completely missed the point of the topic. like the people saying, the, and, shortened company name, etcā€¦ Overused words that arenā€™t necessary is what I figured you were more going for.

epic.

The whole point I was going for was that near mint is okay.

I know, that was more directed toward Jonah

Oh see, having no avatars to subconsciously look at led me to believe that you were the one who originally brought it up.

Tee hee.

Dead Unresponsive. They say it a lot. Us More experianced people say unresponsive.

For everyone else

Smooth, Vibe

Dead unresponsive is a good example. Itā€™s redundant.

Smooth and vibe are words to be expected. What are we supposed to say?

Place Yoyo Company name here place what you do on a straw here

I agree.

Maybe when unresponsive yoyos first became popular ā€˜dead unresponsiveā€™ was a good description, but now itā€™s kind of like calling yoyos circular.

ā€œTheā€.
