I don’t have a diabolo. Not to say the idea isn’t a bad one. I’ve been throwing more 4A and 5A.
Hmm, I suck at yoyo(for now)… let’s add another skill toy to suck at… Just kidding. Might have to go looking for a good price-friendly, yet durable diabolo. Feel free to PM me any suggestions.
Crazy glue is my friend. It leaves a nice layer over the raw spots and doesnt wear down from string friction like bandaids and tape do. 
same here i was doing 1a though i just tough it out the only time i stop is when a bad bind whips me in my hand or leg and it looks like indian jones whipped me lol
