I have a yyo orbis and the axle is very worn down what should i do and where do i find a new one thank you in advance
Since you live in the US, there is Home Depot and Lowe’s. They are called cup set screws.
The axle is just a common set screw. Take it to a hardware store and find one that fits. If they don’t have a set screw (w/o a head) get a std. screw and cut the head off. Smooth the cut end. The screw is probably metric.
I would strongly recommend a hardware store over lowes or home depot.
But Lowe’s and Home Depot are both hardware stores. ???
No, they’re builder’s supply stores, or fancy lumber yards.
do u know if the titanium axle for the anglam on yoyoaddict will work
Yoyofficer switched up the Orbis axle with different runs. It’s an 8mm long set screw, but depending on which Orbis you have it’s either M4 or M5 size. (hardware stores should have both)
M4 screws are the standard YoYoFactory axle size, if you have any YYF yo-yos just try threading an axle in the Orbis and see if it’s the right size. If the Orbis axle is fatter than the typical YYF axles, you’ll need an M5 set screw.
thank u i had a friend who does titanium casting as a job he made me a yoyo axle
