Opinion on string?

Ziplines are indeed a bit thinner than plutonium but not a ton.

The zipline regs you mean? I think it was the antifreez and a couple others that I recieved in that gift package . I did like those, maybe I’ll just have to order both and find out, thanks.

For the most part, string choice imo comes down to a few different things. The main one is comfort. Cheap string that feels like rope just feels dirty and detracts from the experience. String blend can definitely affect the feel, so ill select whatever I think suits a specific yoyo best.

Another one is durability. I hate when yoyo string starts to look like a fuzzy mess and lose string tension only after a few hours. I like to set and forget about string until it really becomes distracting. Also ive had some cheap and/or bulk string break on me after prolonged use. I dont want this happening.

And finally, the most minor (but still important) factor of all: aesthetic. Some people just buy the same color string in bulk and use that, but I like to pair yoyos with different colors or change it up once a string wears out. Also premium string tends to stay looking better longer.

For these reasons I tend to avoid using bulk string. It gets the job done just fine, but it detracts from the experience.
