Thank you Greg P =). I am now interested in trading for a Code 1 to see the difference between that and a Code 2 =)!
Not really. Very close to starting production though.
Had an amazing time at the Bay Area Classic over the weekend! Huge shout out to everyone who made it all possible! Congratulations to Anthony Rojas for taking 1st place in 1A finals! I was able to snag 16th! Videos will be done uploading later today, in the meantime, check out what’s already been uploaded on the One Drop YouTube Channel!
I would love to see more neon colored side-effects like the ones on the broken heart benchmarks. Those look so good!
We’ll definitely be doing more of those!
Proud Gold Sponsors of the Northeast Regional Yo-Yo Contest!
NER is happening this weekend and we have a few team members attending! Mark Montgomery and Paul Dang will be judging the competition while Graeme Steller will be looking to lock up a Nationals Seed!
Word on the street is that Graeme and Mark will both have their new signature yo-yo on them! Maybe if you ask nicely, they’ll let you give it a spin!
Can’t wait to meet you guys! (mainly because I want to try the new throws haha)
is it true that OD doesn’t sell to stores? I was at a juggling store in portland the other day and they said that they had tried to get yoyos or something and OD would not sell to anybody. the owners of the juggling store said that the only place to buy OD yoyos was on the onedrop website and i knew that was not right cause they’re here on yye. Also they had mentioned something about a lawsuit against OD by YYF. Is this bogus or just things that happened many moons ago?
Met Graeme, Paul, and Mark this weekend. What a great bunch of guys. I had occasion to talk to Paul at length and the guy’s a card… and also super-enthusiastic about yoyos in general and (rightfully) One Drop in particular!
Didn’t try Mark’s proto but I gave Graeme’s a spin (haha) and it was great. My understanding is that there are still some refinements to be made, but my first impression was hugely positive.
Also: I won a raffle that included a gold Valor!!11!!1! So amped for this yoyo. I had already thrown Paul’s a bunch and loved it… when I won one, I couldn’t have been more excited.
One Drop’s presence at NER cemented my already-high opinion of the company and the team. A really, really class act making incredible yoyos.
All incredibly false. The opposite is true - we don’t sell direct, we only sell through stores. And there has been no lawsuit. No juggling store in Portland has ever contacted us to purchase yoyos.
What is the name of the store??
Very cool. Hoping to get out to a contest where I can meet these guys!
So glad you got to hang out with the guys
WOW what a weekend at NER!!! Got to hang out with Graeme, Mark and Paul!!! The G man I have known for years… Class act right there!! His new yoyo looks to be another winner for One Drop. Got to see Mark for the second time (met him at Worlds 2013) Great guy to just chat up yoyo’s with… So much history right there. And Paul Dang… What else can I say about this guy other than one of the most unique people I have ever met EVER!!! Such a nice guy and sooooo funny!!! hehe. I now officially have a west coast homie!!!
It was great to see One Drop have such a huge presence at this contest. I have been to NER since 2010 and this one was my favorite yet.
I’ll give my little experience since other are!:
NER was great! This was the first time I’ve been to NER since 2010 so I was happy to go back again and this time at a new venue. I got to meet Mark and Paul but I knew Graeme before but it’s been a long time since I’ve seen him. I got to try Graemes signature which was a great Yoyo. I also got to try Marks but I’m not sure if I’m allowed to talk about that in specifics haha!
Highlight of the OD boys was when Paul Dang came up to me and introduced himself to me. I was pretty shocked because he’s usually the guy other people introduce themselves too so it was kinda cool that he knew who I was. He got to try my yoyos and seemed to like them.
The OD guys are dope!
I had such an amazing time meeting all of you guys! Such a fun filled weekend I spent on the East Coast! Thank you to everyone who made it so spectacular!
Holy crap that’s pretty.
Wait until you see it in person!
You would be making bank as a photographer…
Wow, those are gorgeous. What setup do you use to take these shots? macro lens? And, are the photos edited at all? Saturated to make the colors pop?
