I’m wondering how the titanium marquis is different and playing differently. I’m assuming the exact same profile as the aluminum one so due to the density different the overall weight should be different (how different?). Is that all? I’m asking because, as I understand titanium can be machined differently so you can have more extreme shapes and often push more weight to the outside rim. But if the Marquis shape stays the same, it seems we are not really capitalizing on this potential. Does that mean that the only difference in playing would be the different weight? Curious to hear everyone’s thoughts and experiences.
You’re right that it’s going to be the same shape and someone correct me if I’m wrong, but I think they said the titanium version is also going to have the same weight as the aluminum version. I think One Drop is the type of company to capitalize on the advantages of titanium and make it have improved performance.
I will definitely be curious to hear from the lucky owners once this yoyo get released!

So rewind released theirs earlier and were sold out in like 2 min. I’m assuming YYE is going to get a much bigger stock, but I can’t imagine there will be any left after this weekend. Guess I’m staying up late to get one.
Remember halves are tuned, so if you go trading halfs you could end up with vibe.
Maybe in the past when machining wasn’t as precise, but with One Drop, you really don’t need to worry about vibe from swapping halves.
