Magum opus? I’ve seen several pop up for sale recently.

I think the best question you can ask is which one can you get. I love most my one drop throws. The sugar glider and top deck might be the ones I like most. I also really love my MCMO and Parlay.

Top Deck is my favorite non SE theow from OD. But from the several recent-ish releases, the Wizard is awesome.

If you want something with a more performance oriented shape the Free Solo is great, I also find myself using the Panorama a ton.

Definitely pick up a Top Deck whenever you see one pop up. By far my favorite yoyo, OD or not. It does not use SE’s but it’s honestly perfect just the way it is.

I highly recommend the Kamuraiju. It’s a really fun mid-sized yoyo with a decent amount of stability and performance. Once I put a concave bearing in there, it out performs some of my full-sized yoyos.

If you’re feeling adventurous, the Panorama is great. It is kinda slim and high-walled, so it requires a bit of finesse and cleanliness. It’ll definitely help you get cleaner if you stick with it and I think that’s one of the reasons so many of us love it.

Markmont Classic, Terrarian, Rebirth, or Cascade.

These are the four SE throws that I would recommend to someone.

MMC is timeless to me, truly a modern classic at this point.

Terrarian to me is like the Shutter, or Silenus, or whatever is a companies biggest seller throw that they’ve had in their lineup for a long time.

Rebirth, I think that it’s a really good representation of a modern Project, their first design.

Cascade to me is what inspired a lot of other designs that are well loved in One Drop’s lineup. Summit, Top Deck, Sugar Glider, Prescription, etc… A lot of Cascade’s DNA is in a lot of other iconic OD throws.

I would recommend starting with a Terrarian… very comfortable, easy to land tricks on and will be your best friend for as long as you need it.

Then I would consider a Kamuraiju… because who here wouldn’t love to have a Kuntosh? Except they’re expensive and hard to find on the BST, the Kamu got you covered for way less money! Simply put, if a Kuntosh and a Rebirth had a baby, this would be it.

Now you own 2 of the best one drops… trust me you’ll always want more.

Honeslty, you can never go wrong with this company. All of their releases are fun and an absolute blast to throw around. You get the best machining quality there is, that’s garanteed.

Don’t be fooled by the other companies marketing tricks… if you think about it, a OD that uses an SE might be all you could ever need. Tired of the way it plays? Just change the side effects. It’ll never disappoint.

The Kamu is more like a Kuntosh (OD/Sonny collab) and Summit (another hard to find OD/CLYW collab) had a baby.

Summit, Kamuraiju, Kuntosh5kqv, rebirth.

Potato pics still get the point across, Kamuraiju lineage is from more modern designs while the rebirth/reboot lineage starts with the buzz on DV8 and the Project.

Still 2 very good choices but if you want something similiar to what OD started with, the Reboot is the closest still in stock at OD.
