I don’t know for sure that I “need” either of them, but I kinda want both. The Rally fits the bill for “specs I don’t have in my case yet” regardless of the material, so it’s a touch higher on my wants list. I like the look of it better, I like the specs better, and since I don’t care much about “collectability” it’s the one I’m more likely to get first.

I think the CLYW Yeti will be my choice. Only because it looks like a Chief and I want to wait for a later run of the Rally for some different colors.
Of I could either buy a Rally or Yeti, I’d probably choose the Rally. It looks much more polished and refined. The Yeti looks more “in the rough” as of now.
I hope CLYW does something about it. Because from just the pictures, the prototypes look better than the black one.
I just like the shape, size, the rings, the axle system, everything seems pretty polished on this yoyo. Will definitely pick one up to abuse…
I do agree. Everything about it just seems more finished and… er… desirable…!
That said, once some “regular peeps” (not just team players and pros) put them through their paces, it’ll be interesting to hear about the performance and feel of both.
Will it be at BAC? I might get one there…

For those who say the Rally looks narrow, the pictures are a little deceptive. The Rally has a diameter to width ratio that is similar to the CLYW Cliff and I would never call that yo-yo “narrow” or “slim”.
Release date? “Soon” doesn’t count.
