One drop M1 silicone response

I didn’t have any pads for my old M1, so I used rtv for it. Love it on my other yoyos, but it has turned the M1 responsive. Will it eventually wear down, or does rtv not work well with the M1 response?

Use flowable silicone (windshield silicone) distributes more evenly than rtv

This is what G2 Jake uses. I’ve been using it on about 5 yoyos now. It seems to work great. Really thin/free flowing, so it distributes well in the groove. I’ve been really happy with it.
