Update: I have a somewhat sloppy but serviceable 52 seconds recorded. It might have to do unless we get a better take this weekend when the videographer (aka the wife) is available for reshoots. Stay tuned.

Question for whoever cares to answer: when it comes time to open up the polls, should we do a âhidden pollâ (results only once poll is closed for a surprise ending) or keep it open and visible (to watch the race as it unfolds)?
Iâm kinda in the âhidden pollâ camp, but it doesnât really matter much to me.
This was too funny. Whatâs sad is that I still have my VCR set up and functioning. One of my students asked me what VCR meant and I said âVideo Cassette Recorderâ. His response was, âWhatâs a cassette?â
I answered, âItâs French for oldâ.
In answer to the above question, I say make the voting hidden, but in large type when itâs time to display.
And Iâd like one of those yoyo holders, handcoder! Those look really nice.
Sure hidden poll, makes for more suspense.

If not, we can set up a DropBox and Iâd be happy to add the soundtrack for you. I promise I wonât replace it with squealing random high-pitched noises and harsh static.

Yup - iMovie is a fantastic program, easy to use. Itâs what I have used in all the videos Iâve done.
I concur - hidden poll would be best.
Those paracord holders look awesome, Iâve tried making them in the past, but mine didnât quite have the same class (all I really want in life is a good holder + yoyo, a cigar and good cognac).

imovie is ok but splice works better. More features to edit the video and add elements. I have moved from apple to android and it is the only app that I miss. I agree with hidden vote.

I managed to catch about half of the tricks I wanted to catch. I put a track to it and uploaded, but Iâm going to try again tomorrow. Hopefully Iâll manage to get the entire set of tricks in one shot.
Somehow I missed the part that does explain âthe meat of the post in a nutshellâ by not seeing the very first thing entitled thusly, so no need to expound for me. ( I SWEAR that wasnât there when I looked before!!! I probably started on page 3 or something.
