Emil self-identifies as one of the old folks… I really like watching him throw. Check it oot as a showcase piece!
And oh yeah… still 10 hours to submit! Then I have to make sure I have everyone’s videos in good order before opening the official thread.

If I weren’t so embarrassingly stiff after playing a couple of hours of basketball yesterday, I would be sitting on the edge of seat in anticipation!

In 1.5 hrs. Next time I’m going to do what I saw in another thread; “June 30, 11:59pm EST”. Saves the confusion of “Midnight”. Mind you, the confusion of midnight only had the potential to be a day less, not a day more. But nerp. All of the June.

Alrighty. In 40 minutes I’mma collect my list together and start assembling the voting threads. In the meantime, what do we think the voting period should be? I know, I should’ve asked when I could’ve gotten more response. My instinct is to say “more or less 3 days” but to close voting at a sane hour of the day (in North America I mean. ). Say, voting closes at 7pm on the 3rd?

I think even though we all consider ourselves either beginners or novices we all have a distinct style.
Some more “flowy” and some more “techy” some moving around and some standing stll!! Very cool!!
I also wonder of all of us who have subbmitted a video have ever actually competed before… Or is this the first time others have seen us throw…

First competition for me. And my second video.
First competition, first video. If it hadn’t been for the premise of this thread I never would of done this, and I don’t anticipate it being something I do regularly, but I did enjoy it. Loved watching everyone’s videos. It’s really cool.
It’s fun to see how our peers are doing.
I just started throwing in May, so this is the first video. I have no chance of winning and knew that from the get go, but I thought it would be fun just to throw my hat in the ring. I haven’t had time to watch all the videos yet, but can wait to get home from work and check them all out.
Fourth competition for me already. First one was based on “make a good video” (skill not mandatory) for MonkeyfingeR Design. Next was Waylon and frodoslair’s Fixed Axle February contest. After that, MonkeyfingeR’s blindfolded trick contest (I did Spirit Bomb). Now this!
This is my first skill-based battle, though (the blindfolded one I had no illusions of actually competing… I just wanted to prove to myself I could do Spirit Bomb blindfolded, for the giggles of it!).
And man, when yooldman and I set our terms by PM in the early stages, I had no idea a minute would be so killer! It didn’t sound like much… sorry guys! LOL! I know I’m not the only one who went through a little bit of “heck” laying down that minute of tricks.
I have a couple other wee videos in my channel as well. Nothing spectacular; top-down demonstrations of Trianglglgle by Jeremy Meugens and also top-down of my weird across-the-wrist Kwyjibo. I like doing videos! Will probably do another “edited” video for the fun of it whenever I have an interesting idea.
