Severance or Kentaro? Such a tough decision not having ever played either/any.

I pulled the trigger on the Severance pack. It was screaming at me, the yo-yos look amazing, the demo videos look amazing, and these seem to fit my preferences perfectly. I’m very excited about this as I’ve always wanted a Supernova and I’ve been waiting for an awesome playing Delrin. I’ve got the Halo, but it’s just ok.

Good one, I did too. For all the talk about this pakcage, they don’t seem to be selling as fast as I would think. I had just picked up a supernova last week, but the deal is too good to pass, and you get the little brotha Severe too.
I wanted a Supernova badly, but right from the beginning I knew it would be a thin line for me if it was a $100 pack. I decided not to cross the line primarily because the Severe would be a bonus for me (not really after one) and shipping+customs would completely negate the savings.
I was hoping against hope that it would’ve been a Genesis and Severe for that price, but I knew that would just be nutty. I mean, the Genesis and Catalyst was nutty already (and it sold out quickly), never mind being paired with the much-discussed Supernova. I was mighty tempted to pull the trigger on that one, but it sold out before I got off the fence.
So, all that, and I have only walked away with a Superwide thus far. We’ll see… 
I was hoping for a HOT deal for the last one…But I saw the Kentaro pack open again and went for it. $45 for a Proton? not bad id say…

I got a Legend pack! I’m really looking forward to it; especially the Equilateral. I was actually hoping they would be able to restock the Big and Small pack but I guess they’ve completely sold out. It’s not too bad a loss because I’ve already got a Superwide (I wanted it because if the cheap deal) but at least the Legend pack is coming! ;D
I ended up buying the Tyler Severance pack. I already own Severes but with that deal, why not have another? I was after that YYE Colorway Supernova, so I got what I wanted. I already own 4 Genesis, so I didn’t get that pack. Genesis is my favorite Yoyofactory though. I should get the Superwide and Popstar today sometime. When they come, I’ll post up some pics to keep the thread going awhile.
Maybe YoyoFactoryBen will come in and tell us what a success this was, and tell us that he will do this again sometime later this year. But next time, he will give us a few week’s notice that it’s going to happen so we can save up and make him and YYE a ton of money. 
Are they restocking the packs? because I’m pretty sure the Big and Small pack is sold out. 
Yes, the Big and small pack is sold out, but the remaining stock of the expired packs is now available through the weekend.
Kinda wish I had gotten the Gentry pack since it was such a good deal but I’m satisfied with essentially getting a Roll Model, Genesis, and Catalyst for $50 bucks each with a free Die Nasty thrown in to give away to somebody getting interested in yo-yoing.

Just ordered the last big and small pack I think ^-^ gonna have 3 red throws coming in the mail, as I also checked out a YYE edition YYF 2.0. Seemed interesting and cheep
I got three deals altogether. I passed on the first four deals, and snagged the fifth and sixth Gentry $60 and Big & Small $20. Then, I passed on the 7th John Ando, and bought the 8th Tyler Severance $100. So, $180 spent for a total of 6 throws, 5 out of 6 metal. Super deal for an average of $30 per throw. ;D
Was throwing my super g with the string yyf provided, and then snap! My super g’s string broke after the breakaway, and it took a hard walk the dog on tile.
I NEVER use the string provided with the yoyo. It goes straight into the pile of used strings for recycling.

I almost always do the first few throws with the provided string. In the case of the Lesula, I wanted to give the Krazy Klown string a good go, so I used it until it wore out.
Certainly there should be no expectation that it will break.
