All kidding aside, I have a G-Funk that stays in my glove box as my go-to throw when I’m out running around with the family. Everyone that picked one up is going to love it. It’s basically what I always wanted the Yuuksta to be…still undersized but way more stable.
They do play heavy, but they have the perfect combination of stable and floaty IMO. I’ve had them both play more floaty with a flat bearing, and more stable with a string centering bearing.
I am in complete agreement. While I don’t care for either the G-Funk or the SuperG as yoyos, they are both very smooth and stable. I have nothing against these yoyos, just they didn’t match up well with my preferences.
It goes back to what I and other people have said that a properly designed small yoyo can be just as smooth and stable as something larger. I think that some people just lack the proper experience and knowledge to design smaller yoyos. I do prefer full sized yoyos, but sometimes a nicely done undersized is a nice change.
What exactly is wasted here? I can’t imagine play of that yoyo will be affected in the least! If anything, Steve gained from this… cause I’m sure a few of us chuckled (I know I did). That’s a net gain!
Hmmm. I’m hoping for a Tyler Severance deal, or a Harold Owens deal of some sort. I don’t own a Supernova, nor a H.O.T. I’d like to take advantage of at least two of these deals, and so far, I’ve played my cards right. I had my doubts when I passed on the Kentaro deal, but after snagging that Gentry Stein deal, now I feel lucky. I’m going to set my cell phone alarm tonight so I don’t fall asleep and miss out like I almost did last night.
There MUST be a john ando, right? Anh hopefully supernova and delrin severe, although sadly it will be the 2012 supernovas only, if not ill buy one just for the 2011 supernova.
